Fangtian Township
Fangtian Township, subordinate to Ninghua County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, is located in the southwest of Ninghua County, 22 kilometers away from the urban area, with a total area of 103 square kilometers. In 2018, Fangtian Township had a total population of 12024. By 2019, Fangtian township has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages.
In 2018, Fangtian township will achieve a GDP of 580 million yuan, including 230 million yuan of total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, 350 million yuan of total industrial output value, 158 million yuan of fixed asset investment, 9.65 million yuan of total financial revenue, and 12057 yuan of per capita disposable income of farmers.

Fangtian township is 24 kilometers away from the county seat, 12 kilometers away from the Red Tourism Road in the East, 25 kilometers away from Hengjiang town in Jiangxi Province in the west, 15 kilometers away from Shibi Town, the "Hakka ancestor" in the north, and 16 kilometers away from Caofang town in the south.
There is a middle school in the township. In 2004, a teaching complex with a building area of 2350 square meters was built. Students can study nearby. Medical and health facilities are relatively perfect. There are 8 village clinics.
The infrastructure is improving day by day. Seven administrative villages have been connected with cement roads. They are rich in water resources. There are two main rivers, Fangtian River and Daluo river. There are four hydropower stations (Shuiwei, Daluo, pitian and niuluzhai) in the township, with a total installed capacity of 2100kw.

History and culture
Fangtian Township, founded in 1911, is one of the base towns that ignited the revolutionary fire in the early days. In 1929, the Party branch was established. In 1930, 11 revolutionary organizations such as the Communist Youth League and women's Association were established. The total number of people who participated in the Red Army in that year reached more than 700. It is also the last place where the Soviet government and the local armed forces of Ninghua County insisted on fighting. They made great sacrifices and contributions to win the red flag of Fujian Province. There are 297 martyrs on the British list in the township, and 52 of them have been rated as the "five elders" of the revolution.
