Yuanzhuang town

Yuanzhuang Town, since the second year of Tang Shengli (699), has been subordinate to cixiaoli, Tang'an Township, Xianyou County. It is located at the junction of Jinjiang County, Hui'an County and Xianyou County, Xinghua County, Quanzhou City, and the junction of Luojiang District, Quangang District and Xianyou County. Today, it is adjacent to Fengting Town, Xianyou County in the East, Majia Town, Luoxi Town, Luojiang District, Quanzhou in the west, Tuling Town, Quangang District, Quanzhou in the South and Laidian Town, Xianyou County in the north. Yuanzhuang town is surrounded by mountains, hills and plains, four main roads crisscross the territory, fengci river runs through the whole territory, with beautiful ecological environment. It is a national ecological Township and one of the hinterland of Xianyou economic development zone. Yuanzhuang, also known as xiangtouzhuang or yuantouzhuang, is named after Xiangtou, where the village is located by the ancient garden.

Historical evolution

In the second year of the first Yuan Dynasty of the Western Han Dynasty (85 BC), it belonged to Yexian County, Yangzhou.

In 196, the first year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, it belonged to Houguan County of Yangzhou. Ye County was renamed Houguan county.

The third year of Wu Yong'an (260), the grandson of the Three Kingdoms, belongs to Dong'an County of Jian'an county. Dongan County is located in the south of Houguan county.

In 1279, it belonged to Huian County in Quanzhou road and Xianyou County in Xinghua Road. The division of Huian County has been adjusted. Four villages, Dongping, Lingbei, Yilu and Liuhu, in the south of Yuanzhuang Town, belong to daixianli, Zhongshu Township, Huian County. In November 1955, the four villages of Dongping, Lingbei, Yilu and Liuhu in Tuling District of Hui'an County, located in the upper reaches of fengcixi River, were under the jurisdiction of Fengting district (Yuanzhuang) of Xianyou County.

In September 1958, it belonged to Yuanzhuang commune.

It was changed to Yuanzhuang Township in December 1984.

Yuanzhuang town was established in 1995. In 1997, the population was 48000. There is a Neolithic site in Weishan of houcaixi in the territory. Stone dagger, pottery and other cultural relics have been excavated. There are also historical sites in Aofeng, such as Tai Po City, earth buildings, Qinglong temple, Fu Ji tomb and Wang Mai tomb. It is the hometown of Wang Mai, a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty.

Culture of kindness and filial piety

Since ancient times, there has been a tradition of filial piety and loyalty to the country. Among them, the moving legends of Huang Chaozun, the filial son of Ming Dynasty, who cut the liver to save his mother, and Huang Qingyun, the incorruptible official of Qing Dynasty, have been handed down from generation to generation here.

Huang Chaozun was born in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. He was born in the west of Yuanzhuang tower. He lost his father when he was young, and his mother was blind. His family was in a state of decline. He took charge of his own household affairs and held the door firmly. Mother heart, although blind, and day and night twists Weiqin, for textile Weijia plan. Huang Dynasty respected his mother's filial piety. After feeding his mother every three meals, he picked rice to sell in Huian market. In order to make his mother's eyes bright again, he ran all over the county. Later, he met an old man who taught him that "human liver can cure blindness". At that time, medicine was underdeveloped. Huang Chaozun Jingzhen fed his mother by cutting liver and boiling soup. It was also Chaozun's act of filial piety. He cured his mother's eye disease. His mother saw the light again, but Huang Chaozun died. In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, the magistrate of Hui'an County heard about it and played a special role in the imperial court. The Emperor Yongzheng was deeply moved. He immediately issued an imperial edict and plaque, and wrote a personal letter "liver cutting for filial piety to heaven and earth, with a special purpose for the emperor to think about it and show it". He also ordered the establishment of the filial son Temple (a county-level cultural relic protection unit) to offer sacrifices to the immortal. The imperial edict and edict are still in the collection of Xianyou cultural relics museum.

Huang Qingyun was born in Xiashan of Yuanzhuang. He joined jiedeng in 1730. He served as the head of Jinhua Prefecture, the magistrate of Yiwu County, and the head of the Ministry of punishment. He was honest and upright as an official, aware of the situation of the people, and risked losing his black veil to open a warehouse to relieve the victims. He has been an official for 30 years. He has built water conservancy projects, solved cases like a God, and made outstanding achievements.

Yuanzhuang town comprehensive culture and education base is located in the Zhongxiao ancestral hall (county-level cultural relics protection unit) of Huang family in Yangwei village. The ancestral hall is a place for Huang Qingyun to study and worship his descendants. It has a civil structure, five rooms and three rooms.

Famous scenic spot

Yuanzhuang has a long history, splendid culture and many places of interest. Gaofeng village, a stone city built by Chen Hongjin in the Five Dynasties, is one of the oldest and best preserved historic sites in Fujian Province. The walls of a 1-kilometer-long Gaofeng Dapu city built to resist Japanese invaders are basically well protected. The Neolithic site of xiweishan in Tulou village reflects the wisdom of Yuanzhuang ancestors in ancient times. Yierlou, the Qing Dynasty Tulou in Dongshi village, is firmly constructed and has a rigorous layout, which is comparable to Yongding Tulou.

Dongshi Tulou

According to legend, there are nearly 20 Tulou in Yuanzhuang town in history, which are distributed in Xiashan village, Fenglin Village, Yunfeng village, Yangwei village, Tulou village and Dongshi village along fengci river. A total of 12 have been verified, and the existing ones are
