Jiangyang farm
Jiangyang farm is located in Minhou County, northwest of Fuzhou City. It is 45 kilometers away from Fuzhou City, and it can be connected by road. The farm was founded in 1960 and turned into a provincial state-owned farm in 1964. During the "Cultural Revolution", it was once changed into a "May 7th" cadre school in Fujian Province. It was transferred to Minhou County in 1970 and was taken over as a state-owned farm directly under Fuzhou City at the end of 1979.
Area and terrain
The total land area of the farm is 73615 mu, including 5595 mu of collective land, which is the largest farm in Fuzhou. With a total population of 1845 people (in 2010), there are 44 production teams (called village committees since 1986, the same below), with a per capita land area of 19.3 mu. the whole terrain of the farm is inclined from southeast to northwest, with gentle slope. Penghu mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is 1001 meters above sea level, belonging to the hilly land of Zhongshan. There are five streams in the water system, including Pingxi and Kekeng stream. The streams are continuous all year round with large drop. A hydropower station has been built with an installed capacity of 400 kW. The field department is located in jiangyangwei. The new field Department building built in 1994 is beside the highway. The farm has four village committees and 50 natural villages under its jurisdiction. There are post offices, credit cooperatives, police stations, supply and marketing cooperatives, health centers, middle schools and primary schools in the farm. It is a farm with the nature of township organization. The farm is mainly engaged in the production of forestry, tea and fruit trees, and the farm leaders are mainly engaged in rice production. There are 4892 mu of paddy field, 1015 mu of tea garden, 1641 mu of orchard and 33093 mu of forest land. In 1994, the net value of fixed assets was 1611000 yuan, and the total output value of industry and agriculture was 1676500 yuan. The average annual salary of the staff is 2933 yuan, and the average net income of the field leader is 890 yuan.
Farm soil
The soil forming properties of farm soil are granite and igneous rock, the soil is red soil and yellow soil, the depth is generally between 50-200 cm, the organic matter content is 1% - 2%, and the fertility is high. The vegetation is mainly coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest, evergreen coniferous forest, Phyllostachys pubescens forest and newly built young fir and pine forest, with the forest coverage rate of more than 90%. In 1986, it won the title of advanced unit of afforestation in national agricultural reclamation. The annual average temperature is 18.3 ℃ and the absolute low temperature can reach - 6 ℃. The annual average rainfall is 1323 mm, the annual average humidity is 77%, the frost free period is 270 days, the first frost period is in early December, the final frost period is at the end of February, the annual frost times are 5-6, the spring is rainy and foggy, the summer is cool and not too hot, which is a good environment for the development of tea production, and also suitable for the development of off-season vegetables and flowers.
Enterprise internal structure adjustment
Jiangyang farm is one of the first ten agricultural comprehensive development farms open to the outside world in Fujian Province. After the reform and opening up, the farm adjusts the internal structure of enterprises, promotes the comprehensive development of agriculture, forestry and hydropower, strives to steadily improve the primary industry, speed up the development of the secondary industry, and uses the advantages of geography and climate to introduce funds to run enterprises, forming a new pattern of state-owned economy as the main body and the common development of various economic components. In 1992, Hong Kong businessmen established Fuzhou colorful flower Co., Ltd. and established a flower cultivation experimental center. The farm has an off-season vegetable planting area of more than 500 mu, with varieties of Xiayang cabbage, water bamboo, tomato, etc.
