Quanjun Township

Quanjun Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Jinzhai County, Anhui Province, is located in the northwest of Jinzhai County, upstream of Meishan reservoir. It is adjacent to Meishan County in the East, Shuanghe town and Taoling Township in the south, tiechong Township in the west, Changjiang River, a tributary of Huaihe River System in the north, and Gushi County in Henan Province across the river. It is the first township to enter the mountain from Meishan. The area of economic crops in the township is more than 25000 mu, including 19000 mu of chestnut, 290 tons of chestnut; 2430 mu of tea, 110000 kg of dry tea; 3000 mu of Phyllostachys pubescens, 120000 pieces of bamboo per year; 114 mu of sericulture, 8400 kg of cocoon per year; 3451 pigs, 28000 poultry, 33000 kg of eggs, 700 cattle and 1490 sheep per year. The main agricultural products represented by tea have gradually entered the market inside and outside the province. After the restructuring of Datuanshan tea factory by the township party committee and government, through the introduction of capital technology and management mechanism, the "Jinlong Jianhao" series of tea with great brand effect have been produced. They have participated in various domestic tea expositions for many times and won many awards.

Since 2000, rich and high-grade lead-zinc ore resources have been found in the township. Under the guidance of the investment promotion policy, the lead-zinc mining project is being implemented, and a dressing plant with an investment of 12 million yuan and a daily ore processing capacity of 300 tons has been put into operation, which has brought new opportunities and injected new vitality into the economic development of the whole township. There are three major rivers, the Yangtze River, the quanjun River and the xiongjia River, and four major reservoirs, including longjinghe reservoir, wuchong reservoir, sanlongjing reservoir and Dazhai reservoir. In addition, it is adjacent to Meishan reservoir and has abundant water resources. Sanlongjing hydropower station and longjinghe hydropower station provide more than 1 million kwh of electricity consumption for the whole Township every year. Shahedian high and low voltage power transmission and transformation station is located in the area under its jurisdiction, which provides a solid guarantee for the safe use of electricity for the whole township.

In October 1933, the red 28 army, with Xu Haidong as its commander and Guo Shushen as its political commissar, was formed for the first time. In early November, with the cooperation of the 2nd guerrilla division, the main force of the 28th Red Army, the 84th red division annihilated a regiment of the 40th brigade in Shimenkou, xiongjiahe, captured more than 1000 people, seized more than 800 short guns, 3 mortars and more than 700 overcoats, thus improving the equipment of the army. In February 1935, Gao Jingting served as the political commissar of the 28th Red Army. The military headquarters and organs of the 28th Red Army were set up in the lower reaches of the xiongjiahe river. At that time, the Red Army relied on Chaoyang mountain, yangtaoling mountain, chenjiazhai mountain, Xiaogushan mountain with deep roots and luxuriant leaves of xiongjiazhai, and the surrounding mountains such as Jingangtai xuanjian mountain, goujiling mountain and Geteng mountain.
