Dongxing Street

Dongxing Street is located in the southwest of Liaoyang City. It has jurisdiction over 7 communities and 3 administrative villages. Qingnian Street, Xinyun street, Xinhua Road, Wensheng Road, Liaoxi railway transit. The cultural relics include the mural Tomb of goose house, the mural Tomb of Han and Wei dynasties in Dongguan Street, the Kuixing building and the remains of Confucian temple.

Historical evolution

Dongguan Street and Beimen street were built in 1987. In 1996, Dongguan Street, with an area of 3.3 square kilometers and a population of 17000, is located in the east of Wensheng District, adjacent to the Taizi River in the East and 1 kilometer away from the city center, with jurisdiction over 11 neighborhood committees; Beimen street, with an area of 1.5 square kilometers and a population of 26000, is located in the north of Wensheng District, with jurisdiction over 15 neighborhood committees. In 1999, Yumin village, Guoqing village, Taizihe village and Xinglong Village in Taizihe district were included in Wensheng district. In 2002, Dongxing sub district office was located in Zhonghua street, with a population of 40200 and an area of 6.9 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over eight communities including Beimen, Sida, Dongfeng, Tianqi, dongshuguang, Dongcheng, cement and liaoma, and four administrative villages including Taizihe, Xinglong, Yumin and Guoqing. At the end of 2011, Dongxing Street (excluding Hedong pioneering team) was put under the jurisdiction of Baita District.
