Sangjian town is located 12 kilometers east of Dingyuan County, Anhui Province, with a total area of 149.27 square kilometers. Sangjian town is named after dongsangjian, the town's residence. In ancient times, it was called luoyangji. Because it is located on the Bank of the river and the surname sang lives together, it is named sangjiajian. Because it is located in the east of the county, it is also called dongsangjian.
