GuanChang township is subordinate to Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province. It is located in the south of Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County, adjacent to gehetou town in the East, Funing district and Lulong County in the south, Taolinkou Reservoir in the West and gehetou town in the north. The administrative area is 184 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in officialdom was 12752.
In 1949, it belonged to Sanchakou district; in 1961, Dongfeng commune established officialdom commune; in 1984, it abolished the commune and restored officialdom township. As of June 2020, GuanChang township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Guanchang village.
