History of construction
During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, Qi and Lu set up longyi, Shuyi, Boyi and Yangguan respectively in the north-west and southwest of jianlai mountain.
In the Qin Dynasty, Boyi was changed to Boyang County, and in the early Han Dynasty, Boyang county was established to govern Boyang county.
In the Western Han Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty set up Taishan County in the first year of Yuanfeng (110 BC) and ruled fenggao (now Guxian village, Fan Town, Daiyue district).
During the Northern Wei Dynasty, Bo county was changed into Boping County, and the Taishan county was moved to Boping.
During the Northern Qi Dynasty, Boping county was replaced by Boxian County, Taishan county was abolished and Dongping county was established.
In the Sui Dynasty, the first year of kaihuang (581), Dongping county was abolished. In 596, Bo county was changed into Wenyang County, and then Bocheng county.
In the Tang Dynasty, the first year of Qianfeng (666) was changed to Qianfeng county. In 668, Bocheng county was rebuilt. In the first year of Shenlong (705), it was changed to Qianfeng county.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, in the fifth year of Kaibao (972), Qianfeng County moved to Daiyue town (today's Taicheng). In 1008, Qianfeng county was changed into Fengfu county.
In 1136, Tai'an army was set up in Fengfu area, which was named after Tai'an. Dading 22 years (1182), promoted to the state.
In 1735, Yongzheng was promoted to prefecture.
After the founding of the Republic of China, Tai'an County was directly under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province, and later under the jurisdiction of Jinan road. In 1913, the government left Taian County.
During the Anti Japanese War, the Anti Japanese democratic regime established five counties
Tai'an County: in August 1938, under the leadership of the Anti Japanese democratic regime, Tai'an County was divided into two parts: the East and the west, with Jinpu railway as the boundary. In the east part of the road, the "Joint Office of the people's Anti Japanese armed forces in the east of Tai'an" was established, and later it was subordinate to the "administrative joint office of the new seven counties of Zibo in Tailai calendar". In February 1940, the Anti Japanese democratic government of Taian County was established, which was subordinate to the "Taishan District Administrative Commissioner Office".
Taixi County: in July 1939, the "Joint Office of Taian County (West District)" was established in the west part of Taian County Railway. On October 10 of the same year, the Anti Japanese democratic government of the Western District of Tai'an County was established, under the jurisdiction of "the first office of the administrative inspector general of the Western District of Tai'an". In January 1943, it was attached to the 16th Office of the administrative inspector general of the border region of Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong and Henan. In July 1946, Taian County (West District) was renamed Taixi County, and in October, it was renamed "the first office of administrative inspector general of Hebei, Shandong and Henan". In September of the next year, it was attached to "the seventh special office of central and southern Shandong Province" and "the office of the High Commissioner of central and southern Shandong and western Thailand". In June 1949, Taixi county was incorporated into Tai'an County, which was called "Taishan District special office".
Tali County: in January 1941, from the South Shanggao Town, xiyanglou and Fujiazhuang on the east side of Jinpu road to the north of the east line of Shangbu, the northern Thailand Administrative Office (county level) was set up, which was subordinate to the Taishan special office. The area to the south of this line is still Tai'an County. In November 1943, the northern administrative region of Thailand merged with the southern region of Licheng county to establish Tali County, which was subordinate to the first administrative Commissioner Office in central Shandong. In October 1945, Tali county was abolished, and part of the original Tai'an County was restored to Tai'an County, which was attached to the special office of Taishan District.
Taining County: in June 1938, the "Taining border region autonomous association" was established in the southern part of Tai'an County and some parts of Ningyang County, which was subordinate to the special office of Taishan District. In August 1940, it was renamed "the office of the Eighth Route Army in the taining border region", and its subordinate status remained unchanged. In February of 1942, Taining County was established, which was changed into "Tainan office". In 1949, Taishan District Office was established. In September 1952, it was abolished in Taining County.
Taisining County: in December 1942, Taian, Sishui and Ningyang set up "taisining Joint Defense Office". In August of the next year, taisining county was formally established. In October 1945, taisining County entered Taining County.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Tai'an and Taining counties were subordinate to the "Tai'an Commissioner's office" (Tai'an special office is located in Taicheng).
In September 1952, Taining County was renamed Jianyang county.
In March 1956, Jianyang county was abolished, and part of the original Tai'an was restored to Tai'an.
In June 1958, Taishan City was established in Chengguan town and surrounding villages. In November of the same year, Taishan City and Taian County merged to establish Taian city.
In April 1963, Tai'an City was changed into Tai'an County, under the special office of Tai'an.
In February 1982, Tai'an County was restored to Tai'an City.
In March 1985, after the abolition of Taian prefecture level Taian City, the original Taian City (county level) was divided into Taishan District and suburbs.
In April 2000, the suburb was renamed Daiyue district.

When the district was established in 1985, it was called the suburb of Tai'an City, with jurisdiction over 16 streets. In December of that year, the Shandong Provincial People's Government approved with (85) Hanzi No. 43 document that the offices in the suburbs of Tai'an City should be abolished and the original townships and towns should be adjusted. There are 11 towns and 8 townships in the region.
In December 1994, Xiazhang, Daolang, Zhuyang, Mazhuang and Fangcun townships were changed from townships to towns.
In June 1999, with the approval of the people's Government of Shandong Province, Taian City adjusted the jurisdiction scope of suburbs and Taishan District, putting Shengzhuang town and qiujiadian town in the suburbs under the jurisdiction of Taishan District, and the congee shop office in Taishan District under the jurisdiction of suburbs.

In 2002, beijipo town was under the jurisdiction of Tai'an high tech Development Zone, and its administrative division remained unchanged.

In May 2008, 13 administrative villages in Daolang Town, Gengzhuang, beidaquan, chiziya, nandaquan, heishuiwan, qijiadian, tianjiayu, bandashan, Zhoujiazhuang, fajialing, datandi, qiujiazhuang and xuanhuang, were under the jurisdiction of Tianping street.

The stratigraphic division of Daiyue district is North China stratigraphic division and West Shandong stratigraphic division. The strata are widely distributed in the area. The early Paleozoic strata, Cambrian and Ordovician, are distributed in the area in strips and blocks. The Taishan Group of Archean group is more exposed in the eastern mountainous area. The Carboniferous, Permian, Jurassic and Cretaceous strata are almost not exposed, and the Tertiary strata are sporadically exposed.
The stratigraphic division of Daiyue district is North China stratigraphic division and West Shandong stratigraphic division. The exposed strata include Taishan Group of Archean, Cambrian, Ordovician, Carboniferous Permian, Jurassic Cretaceous and Cenozoic.
The Taishan Group in Daiyue area is mainly developed in Huamawan area in the East, with relatively complete outcrop. The sequence can be divided into Mengjiatun formation, yanlingguan formation, shancaoyu formation and Liuhang formation from bottom to top. It is an irregular remnant body, and the belts are scattered in the late Archean Early Proterozoic intrusive tTG rock series, which is a set of clastic volcanic sedimentary formation.
