Yuehu District, Yuehu District, belongs to Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the middle reaches of Xinjiang River in the northeast of Jiangxi Province, between 28.1 ° to 28.18 ° north latitude and 116.57 ° to 117.7 ° east longitude. Yuehu district is adjacent to Yu hometown of Guixi City in the East and south, Hongtang town of Guixi City in the north and Honghu township of Yujiang District in the west, covering an area of 137 square kilometers. Yuehu District, founded in November 1983, is the political, cultural and business center of Yingtan City. Because there is a strange rock in the southwest of the territory, "cave half moon shaped, hole near Bailu River, river wide like a lake" and named. History of construction

From 223 BC to 764 BC, Yingtan was under the jurisdiction of Jinxing Township, Yugan county.

Tang Yongtai first year (765), home Guixi County, Yingtan called Fang, Guixi County jurisdiction.

In 1573, the inspection department of Shenfeng village moved to Yingtan.

In 1765, Yingtan set up a division; in 1864, Yingtan changed its division to Yingtan Town, which was still under the jurisdiction of Guixi county.

In January 1957, Yingtan was upgraded to a county-level Town, and in April of the next year, it was reduced to the jurisdiction of Guixi county.

In July 1960, Yingtan was changed into a county-level town under Shangrao district.

In March 1979, Yingtan was set up as a city instead of a town.

In July 1983, Yingtan City was upgraded to a provincial city, and the original county-level Yingtan City area was renamed Yuehu district.

In the Qing Dynasty, the capital, Tu and Jia were set up. Yingtan town was the 31 capitals and eight Tu of Xianyuan township.

In 1921, Yuehu township was established, with 12 baos and 94 Jias under its jurisdiction.

In 1931, the party and government committee of the commander-in-chief of land, sea and air force ordered 43 counties in Jiangxi Province to change the Baojia system. Guixi was set up as a district, Baolian and Jia. Yingtan was the Fourth District, with one Baolian and 17 Baojia.

In August 1940, the Fourth District of Yingtan had become the economic axis, so Yuehu township was added.

From 1943 to 1945, Yuehu Township governed 12bao, 94A, 12bao, 94A and 10bao, 112a; Yingtan town governed 6bao, 46a, 6bao and 48A.

In May 1949, Yingtan was liberated and Yingtan town was changed into a district. In September of the same year, Baojia was abolished and the system of districts, townships and villages was implemented.

In June 1950, Yingtan town was a district level town. In August, Yuehu district (District 5) was added to administer 13 townships, namely Shitang, zuishang, Taiyang, Yangbi, bailugang, Xiaoying, Qiaoxi, Koushang, Luowan, Liuqiao, Mengqing, Dishui and Zhuangyuan.

In 1951, Yingtan town set up six street people's governments: peace, transportation, victory, labor, liberation and construction. On the basis of governing 13 townships, Yuehu District added Xiwang, xiagui and Tianlu.

In January 1957, Yingtan town was upgraded to a town directly under the central government of Shangrao special region, with three townships, namely, zuishang, Guixi County, bailugang and Yangbi, belonging to Yingtan town.

In February 1957, Guixi county was divided into Yingtan town.

In April 1958, Yingtan town was reduced to Guixi county.

In July 1960, Yingtan town was once again a town directly under the central government of Shangrao special region. The two brigades of Yingtan suburb commune, Liuhong commune and Luoping commune of Zhiguang commune in Guixi county were included in Yingtan town.

In March 1979, Yingtan was set up as a city instead of a town.

In July 1983, Yingtan was upgraded to a provincial city. The former Yingtan City was renamed Yuehu district. It has jurisdiction over three offices, namely Siqing Township, Xiabu Township, Bailu Township, Tongjia Township and Jiangbian, Donghu and Jiaotong.

In January 1989, Meiyuan office was set up.

In April 1995, Tongjia and Bailu set up towns.

In August 1998, Siqing township was set up as a town.

In September 2003, Bailu township was under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Industrial Park, and Bailu sub district office was established.

In January 2010, the Management Committee of Xinjiang new district was established, and Xiabu township was under the jurisdiction of Xinjiang new district. Yuehu district has jurisdiction over Tongjia town and five sub district offices including Jiangbian, Jiaotong, Donghu, Meiyuan and Siqing.
