Beijing Vocational College of economics and trade, approved by the Beijing Municipal People's government and put on record by the Ministry of education, is an ordinary university with the qualification of independently issuing academic certificates of higher education. Beijing Vocational College of economics and trade, formerly known as China Social University, was founded in 1982. It was initiated by Nie Zhen, Liu Da, fan Ruoyu, Zhang Youyu and other old educators, and approved by the office of industry and agriculture education of Beijing municipal government.

The college is located in Liangxiang Higher Education Park in Beijing. It has a strong academic atmosphere around the campus, convenient transportation and elegant environment.
