Introduction to elbow Chui

Elbow Chui, passed on in Linqing. Zhang donghuai (1844-1901), a native of Yaopo village in Yuan Township of Tang Dynasty in Linqing Dynasty, is regarded as the founder of this school, which has been handed down to the sixth generation. Among the descendants of elbow Chui, Liu ruqin, Yu Yuezhou, Zhou Ziyan, Feng Yanfu, Zhao Yanqing, Yan Rui, sun Jingyuan, sun Jingzhong and Zhao Gongxiang were all famous for a time. In 1932, Zhou Ziyan took Hu Shiming as his apprentice, Liu Sanxing took Jia Wenyuan as his apprentice, and sun Jingyuan took Zhang duo as his apprentice. In 1940, Zhou Ziyan was invited to become an important member of Beijing boxing research society.
The basic content of elbow Chui consists of four parts: boxing, Sanshou, Gongfa and Lifa. There are ten times of boxing, four seasons of boxing and eight directions of boxing. Sanshou has heaven, earth and renzihao. There are mainly two methods, elbow work and so on.
