Declaration area or unit: qianguoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, Jilin Province
Matouqin is a symbol of national music culture in the former gollus Mongolian Autonomous County.
Matouqin is named after the horse head carved on its head. It is one of the Mongolian stringed instruments, also known as "Chaoer" in Mongolian. In the early days, the traditional horse head Qin was made with simple technology. Later, after the transformation of the horse head Qin master Selassie, the production and processing skills were continuously improved and developed.
Matouqin is a treasure of Mongolian and Chinese culture and art. The horse head Qin of Gorros has a far-reaching cultural origin and cultural heritage, and it is also a unique folk craft. The production process of Matouqin is complex and the materials are carefully selected. Every process is made by old craftsmen. At present, the local production of Matouqin is exported to Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Hong Kong and other regions of China, and Mongolia, Japan and other countries, deeply loved by consumers.
