Wuzhou Park

Guzicheng, an ancient city of Jinhua, is located in the north of the river in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, west of Dongshi North Street and north of Piaoping road. It was built before 903 A.D. and has a history of more than 1700 years. It is the root of Jinhua City. It was the political, cultural and military center of Jinhua in the past dynasties, with profound historical and cultural accumulation. In the ancient city, there are not only 5 national and provincial cultural protection units, such as Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Prince's mansion and bayong building, but also 6 municipal cultural protection units, such as Yongkang KaoYu, and 43 cultural protection sites and historical buildings.

Wuzhou Park

Jinhua Wuzhou park is adjacent to Shengli South Street in the East, Piaoping road in the north and Tianning Temple across the road. After the reconstruction in 2004, the former Wuzhou Park and children's Park were merged to be called Wuzhou park. Meanwhile, some new scenic spots, buildings and structures were added to enrich the scenic spots of the new Wuzhou park.

After the reconstruction in 2004, the former Wuzhou Park and children's Park were merged and unified as Wuzhou park. Wuzhou park is close to the water, and the scenic spots, buildings and structures are in harmony.

This urban park on the Bank of the Wujiang River makes Jinhua an ancient city with more greenery and gives people a good place to get close to nature.

Main attractions

"Qingbo ancient" is composed of qingbomen square, ancient qingbomen archway, cencuihu and cencuiting. Facing the water, the archway faces Cen Cuiting across the water, reflecting the lake.

The "hymn of light" is a cultural square with the theme of commemorating Ai Qing. It mainly focuses on the night view. It highlights the effect of light through fountains, pavement and lighting, and sets off the commemoration of the poet Ai Qing. “

"Huaxi Liuquan" is a stream connecting cencui lake and Qingbo lake. It creates a landscape close to nature and full of wild interest by placing stone revetments, pebbles, aquatic plants and gentle slopes on both sides.

"Qingfengyun shadow" is composed of the original mingxiangxuan, Qingbo lake, Lingbo Pavilion, waterscape platform and Fuyun Island, which is the main lake landscape of the park. Breeze, ripples, sit in view, cloud shadow floating, strolling among them, tree shadow whirling.

"Huiyuan" is a traditional garden landscape, with mountains and water in the garden, ingenious layout of ancient buildings, and just right plant configuration. It is a good place for visitors to sing tea, talk about the past, play chess and meet friends in the garden.

"Qushui Tongyou" is a small stream connecting the clear Qingbo lake and the quiet Huiyuan pool. It flows into the Huiyuan pool through LIANLI Pavilion. The pavilion faces the water surface, with winding water and thick shade, forming a quiet picture.

To the north of "Shuangxi Fishing Song" is the black pine forest. There are dense trees around Shuangxi Pavilion. You can listen to the song waves and watch the fishing song at Sanjiangkou.

The south side of the bullfight sculpture is a hydrophilic platform, which not only sets off the momentum of the sculpture, but also extends the open space of the big lawn to the water surface of the river. On the west side of the lawn is cedar forest, on the east side is Acer palmatum forest, on the south side is osmanthus forest.

"Yanyu cuixiao" is mainly composed of Qingbo building. Rainy day, across the bank, looking at the Qingbo building and the woods looming in the rain and fog, the misty trees, attic, river water is like a fairyland on earth.

On both sides of the South Square, maple and cedar trees are planted, and rockery is in the extension of the square. The original municipal building in the northeast corner of the park will be used as the urban planning exhibition hall, and the four storey complex building in the park will be used as the supporting service building.
