Xu Changmo Painting Academy

It is the old house of Xu Changmo, a famous painter and vice chairman of Shanghai Art Association. Xu family has been engaged in rice business for generations, and "Xu DINGHE" used to be a famous rice business in Wuzhen. Later, Changmo's father, Xu Diancheng, was killed in the Japanese massacre. Xu DINGHE lost his backbone and went into decline. Xu Changmo spent his childhood and youth in this old house until he went to Shanghai to study at the age of 17.
