Chuanyan poetry forest is a new scenic spot opened in 1988. It is located on the hillside of Xianglu peak. It integrates stone interest, cave interest and poetry interest. It has the nickname of "Chuanyan poetry forest interest" in the new four unique scenery of Nanyue. The main scenic spots include lover's stone, flying stone, head stone, immortal stove, immortal pot and Xiaoxitian. On the stone wall outside the cave, more than 40 ancient and modern poems about Nanyue written by contemporary calligraphers are carved.

Introduction to scenic spots

Chuanyan poetry forest is located on the hillside of Xianglu peak on the east side of the Mountaineering Road from Zhonglie temple to banshanting, with steep cliffs and jagged rocks. Among them, there are dozens of natural stone caves of different sizes. Now according to the natural characteristics of the caves and rocks, different shapes are given: there are ghosts, animals and plants, cliff inscriptions, and the whole forest of stone inscriptions. People call it Xiaoxitian. Between the holes, there is a stone road connected to form a whole rock forest.

Sanqing Bridge

Nanyue Huoju Taoist belongs to the orthodox school of Taoism, which has a long history. Its predecessor was wudoumi Dao and Tianshi Dao created by Zhang Ling in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the eighth year of Dade (1304), Emperor Chengzong of the Yuan Dynasty granted Zhang Yucai, 38 generations of Heavenly Master, as "the leader of Zhengyi sect, who led the three mountains (yanzaoshan, Longhushan, Maoshan) in the seal script". Since then, Zhengyi religion was born, and it was called two major sects of Taoism together with Quanzhen religion. They all regard "Sanqing" as the Supreme God, but the religious rules are quite different. Quanzhen sect has strict rules and regulations. All Taoists must become monks, live in temples, forbid marriage, prohibit killing, save food, and sleep less, which is called Qingxiu sect. Zhengyi sect has many families, does not live in temples, lax organization, and lax discipline, which is called Fu Zhuan sect. It is mainly engaged in activities such as spirit subduing, ghost expelling, and transcendence among the people. Due to the fact that mount Longhu is close to Jiangxi Province, Nanyue has a great influence. In addition, the Chu people believe in witchcraft, so the technique of praying for divination in Fu and Zhuan spread widely among the general Taoists and the people of Nanyue. This is the origin and formation of Nanyue Huoju Taoist. It can be inferred that this "Sanqing bridge" is located in the Chuanyan poetry forest on the side of "xuandu Temple", which must be the remains of the "supreme God" thought by Taoists.

Shilangtai

Under the Sanqing bridge is the "stone wave platform". According to the introduction, this is the place where monks broke through the door to practice meditation for more than 20 years in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. Because he inscribed the word "stone wave" on this stone, it is called "stone wave platform".
