The former revolutionary base site of Hebei Shandong Henan border region (the former site of danguai revolution in Puyang) is located at the junction of Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces. It covers an area of 186700 square meters and a construction area of 24000 square meters.

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who are struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, the scenic spot will implement a free and preferential policy for medical workers from the date of resumption of operation to December 31, 2020.

Construction history

The former site of danguai revolution in Puyang City is the location of the northern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, the Hebei Shandong Henan Branch Bureau, the headquarters of the Hebei Shandong Henan military region and the first military factory of the military region in the late period of the Anti Japanese War and the early period of the liberation war (1944.9-1946.10). It is the place where Deng Xiaoping, a great man of the generation, lived and fought with the leading comrades of the older generation, such as Huang Jing, song renqiong, Wang Hongkun, Yang Yong, Su Zhenhua, etc. The first artillery in the history of our army's ordnance industry, the 92 type 70mm infantry gun named "Gailiang" (now on display in the Chinese Military Museum), was successfully manufactured here.

Major exhibitions

After more than half a century of ups and downs, there are still nearly 40 old sites and houses here, many of which are still in the old appearance. They belong to the typical style of northern dwellings in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, representing the characteristics of the times of Central Plains architectural culture.

Honors

The former Memorial Hall of revolutionary base in Hebei Shandong Henan border region is a national patriotic education demonstration base, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national AAAA tourist attraction, a red tourism classic scenic spot in Henan Province, a national Red Tourism classic scenic spot (phase II), a revolutionary traditional education base of Jinan military region, and one of the first batch of education bases of CPC History in Henan Province. In 2005 and 2008, he was awarded the excellent display award by the Provincial Bureau of cultural relics.
