Riqing building in Hankou

The area along Yanjiang Avenue and Jianghan Road in Hankou is the most prosperous area in the British concession in modern times. The former site of Riqing foreign company in Hankou is located at the intersection of the two streets, which is the focus of gold in the golden area. The building is designed by the famous construction company Jingming company in Hankou, and constructed by hanxiesheng construction plant. It was completed in 1928 and has a steel-concrete structure. There are five floors above the ground and one floor under the ground. The three-stage composition is adopted. The building has a separate entrance at the intersection of the two streets. The entrance itself is very plain, but there is a rectangular window retracted at the top. There are ionic leaning columns on both sides, and the top is covered with arc-shaped mountain flowers. It is very exquisite. The design here breaks the conventions, but produces a unique effect. Two Ionic columns are arranged between the third and fourth floors, and the bottom and top of the columns are carved with exquisite relief decoration. In the middle of the top floor, there is an ancient Roman style domed building surrounded by Tashkent columns. There is a small Baroque round hole on the helmet shaped roof. At the top of the domed building, there is a small pavilion to end the complex building.
