Tianzhu Temple

Wenzhou Tianzhu temple, formerly known as Baoquan temple, was built in Jin Dynasty and rebuilt in Zhenyuan period of Tang Dynasty. It used to be one of the five branches of Xianyan temple, the "26th blessed place in the world" at the West foot of Daluo mountain, with a history of more than 1200 years. Tianzhu temple covers an area of 3000 square meters, divided into Mountain Gate, Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall and Guanyin Pavilion

Tianzhu Temple

Tianzhu temple is located at the east side of Daluo, under Tianzhu peak, Yongchang Town, Longwan District. Wenzhou Tianzhu temple, formerly known as Baoquan temple, was built in Jin Dynasty and rebuilt in Zhenyuan period of Tang Dynasty. It is located on the east side of Daluo, at the foot of Tianzhu peak, Yongchang Town, Longwan District, 35 kilometers away from the District People's Government (Wenzhou City). There is a waterfall on the right side of the temple, which flows into the Xitan. There is a cold spring on the left side of the temple, which bends with the stream; the waterfall and the cold spring flow out of the Tiannan Valley, and the waterfall Spring Temple is named for some reasons. It was renamed Tianzhu temple in the middle of Ming Dynasty.

It is said that the scenery of Tianzhu is comparable to that of Wuyi Taoyuan. There are many celebrities from ancient and modern times who come here. For example, Xie Kangle, the prefect of Jin Dynasty, Wang Zan, Zhang Cong, Wang Shuguo and Wang Shuguo of Ming Dynasty all have ink marks, but I regret that there are no authentic ones. Pan Yantong of Qing Dynasty once wrote many poems here. "The towering ancient temple is built on the top of the mountain, with a high column rushing to the sky. Neon flying waterfall, thousands of peaks and lush trees lock the smoke. The Dragon subduing pool is full of fresh spring, and the tiger subduing wind shakes the old bamboo. Don't let love be a bird's way, and let guests take advantage of it. " This is one of them. Later generations have copied it on the temple wall.

Scenery

Tianzhu temple covers an area of 3000 square meters, which is divided into four parts: Mountain Gate, Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall and Guanyin Pavilion. The temple has been preserved up to now. Here, surrounded by mountains and water, lush forests and bamboos, streams murmur and clear springs gurgle. Guanyinjiang, Maitreya bee, Tianzhu peak, xianrenying, Yingyan, banzhangyan, doubian, Xitan, wuzhefu waterfall, niuguiyan and guanyedao on the right side of the temple are collectively referred to as the seventeen scenic spots. Visitors here forget to return. In the east of Tianzhu temple in Wenzhou, there are cliff inscriptions: "the first mountain", "KaiKou rock", "Heshang rock", "shigu rock" and "Meiren waterfall"; in the west along CHANGKENG, there are baijiajian, steal cave and Tianhe reservoir; in the southwest, there are big and small Libra hammer rock, nanlaoying rock, Dapeng rock, West tiger cave, XiangZhuang rock, monk cremation chamber rock, Yuquan temple and Taocheng cave, etc.
