Xiangyu Temple

Xiangyu Temple natural scenic spot is located in xiasigou of Jianshan mountain, which is a natural mountain shaped scenic spot. There is an 8.6-kilometer-long Grand Canyon (also known as lover's Valley) in the scenery, which is magnificent. From upstream to downstream, there are three Xiangyu temples built in the Tang and Song dynasties. It is said that at that time, incense curled, pilgrims and tourists flourished. The gap between the top and the bottom of the Grand Canyon is more than 200 meters. During the rainy season, mountains and waters and springs rush down to hit the rocks. The grotesque rocks in the valley are either standing abruptly, or chopping with knives and axes. The green forest along the bank blocks out the sun, and the vegetation is luxuriant. Some of them are natural bonsai for a hundred years, and some of them stand proudly in the gully rock. The terraced dense forest composed of black locust trees blocks out the sun. Under the dense forest grows carpet like grass, which is called "lover's forest" (also known as happy forest) by the local people. It's a wonderful summer resort. The most peculiar is the mountains surrounding the canyon. Its whole body is composed of red rocks, and green trees join together to form natural ink. There are many wonderful legends about the various shapes of rocks, such as "lover's stone", "view stone", "echo wall", "two lions fighting for supremacy" and "Dayu splitting the mountain".
