Chinese Calligraphy Art Museum
The Museum of Chinese calligraphy art is located in the Xi'an city wall, Hanguang Road, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It was completed and opened in 1989. Originally under the Xi'an Municipal Bureau of cultural relics, now under the Xi'an City Wall Scenic Area Management Committee. The site of the museum was originally located on the tower of Yongning gate (South Gate) of Xi'an city wall. In November 2007, it moved to the Hanguangmen Site Museum of Tang Dynasty city wall in Xi'an.
Collection
There are 844 pieces of cultural relics in the museum, including Qin seal clay, character bricks, inscriptions, inscriptions, bamboo slips, and calligraphy slips. The exhibition hall covers an area of 600 square meters. The exhibition mainly includes the display of Zhong Dingwen from the oracle bone inscriptions era to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the display of seal clay of Qin Dynasty, the display of authentic calligraphy, rubbings, stone inscriptions and brick carvings, etc., which comprehensively shows the main calligraphy achievements of various periods in China. Since 1988, more than 100 exhibitions focusing on calligraphy have been held.

The museum has also made great achievements in scientific research. It has successively published Xinbei, Qikui Yinzhi, Weijie Yinzhi, seal cutting appreciation, impressions of Daoists visiting Taiwan, Zhang Menglong's collection of regular script sentences, Jinshi literature series, works collection of the first seal cutting art exhibition in Shaanxi Province, directory of contemporary Chinese children's calligraphers, and Wadang of Qin and Han Dynasties "Seal script Yinhui", "tile atlas", "Chang'an Shengji yinpu", "falling Qiankun dabuyi - Yu Youren's pseudonym yinpu", "contemporary seal cutting collection - Wei Jie volume", "contemporary seal cutter's new works", "Chinese seal style, Yintao, fengni volume", "Su Shi MiFu running script collection couplets", "character and graphics creativity", "the second seal cutting art of Shaanxi Province" More than 20 works have been published, including works of art exhibition, newly unearthed ancient seals in Shaanxi, newly unearthed clay seals in Qin Dynasty, ancient Chinese tile art and selected works of Fu Jiayi's calligraphy, painting and seal cutting.
There are 18 museum staff (1 secretary and 2 deputy curators), including 10 with junior title or above. There are four departments: Party and government office, cultural relics research and preservation department, propaganda and education department and security department. The annual average number of visitors to the museum is 200000.
