Southwest Park, located beside Guanghai Avenue, is the largest, most functional and most popular city park in Sanshui. Southwest Park (x ī n á ng ō ngyu á n) is at the end of Hongxing street in southwest town, next to southwest middle school. In 1931, it was initiated by the southwest public welfare construction promotion association and built on the desolate hongzhugang. It was destroyed in 1938. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it has been repaired many times, especially after 1977. It covers an area of 1800 square meters. You can see the style of the whole southwest town from a height. In the garden, there are winding paths, white magnolia and other flowers and trees whirling, quiet and elegant. The pavilions like Qingyun, banyan shade, Daoxiang and Xiaotan, as well as the flower towers, curved bridges and flower sheds, are a good place for the masses to have a rest. In recent years, recreational facilities have been added, and various ornamental animals and Xianfeng iron guns unearthed from nearby Xianggang have been displayed, which are more abundant in content.
