Suowu mountain scenic spot is located in the longdiaogou of Erjia village, Wanlin Township in the east of Jinchuan County, covering an area of more than 100 square kilometers. The geological structure of the scenic spot is mainly composed of granite, with Songmuping as the center and suowu temple, pusagou, xiandiaogou, zhuchanggou, dashuzigou and other scenic spots radiating to the periphery.

Brief introduction of suowu Temple

Suowu temple is located at the foot of men's and women's mountains. It used to sit in the north and south, with three rooms wide and three rooms deep. The top of the temple is a single eaves mountain style, with a simple and majestic shape. In the middle is the plaque "suowu Temple" inscribed by Emperor Qianlong himself. In 1944, the government of Jinghua County appropriated funds to rebuild the temple, which was even more magnificent. Unfortunately, it was completely destroyed in the ten years of turmoil. Now there are only three wooden temple houses on the second floor, with statues and shrines of mordu, suowu and ham. There are endless pilgrims and incense burning every year.

Bodhisattva Valley

It is also divided into men's mountain, women's mountain, city wall mountain and Qipan mountain. Male mountain, also known as suowu (meaning grandfather). It is the main peak of suowu mountain, with an altitude of 3750 meters. It looks like a tall and powerful man, holding his head high and his eyes bright, higher than the clouds. Because of its natural mountain form a huge Buddha. Nushan, also known as hamfeng, is said to be the daughter of the mountain god "jiamordu", the largest holy mountain under the jurisdiction of the 18 chieftains in Jiarong Tibetan area. It is one of the main peaks of suowu mountain. At an altitude of 3700 meters, the mountain is naturally formed, like a gentle woman, so it is called Nushan. The city wall mountain, with an altitude of 4563 meters, is a barrier suddenly rising in the forest of Wanqing mountain. The two steep walls are like an insurmountable city wall. Qipan mountain, located between men's and women's mountains, is 3550 meters above sea level. The mountain is precipitous and unpredictable. It is out of reach. The top of the mountain is a platform, covering an area of 160 square meters. It runs across four white lines and looks like a chessboard. Chess pieces are like a three foot iron pot.

Xiandiaogou

A line of sky, the peak breaks, and the sky leaves a line. It's just like a craftsman who uses a ghost axe to cut the mountain, leaving only this stone crack with a height of more than 100 meters and a width of 3 meters. At the bottom is the "yixiantian" waterfall, from which the water flows out of the dangerous rock. The water flows down over three heavy rocks and flows into the pool in three layers. The upper layer is like a white dragon, which jumps out of the rock gap and flies directly under the rock. The lower layer is a folding waterfall, which roars day and night. At the bottom of the waterfall is a round deep pool, about one mu. When I came to the pool and looked up, I saw the waterfall falling down like endless pearls. Rhinoceros pond is a deep pond with an area of more than one mu. There are two elliptical boulders in the pond, one big and the other small. The waterfall water falls down directly and sets off a circle of waves in the pond, and the strange stones appear and disappear with the waves, like a rhinoceros swimming in the pond. This pond is called "rhinoceros Tuo".

Zhuchanggou

Large and small waterfalls all over the ditch, some like a white curtain, time and time together, rushing down; some like a white ribbon, flickering, falling into the forest. Some are like mountains and dense forests, wearing silver chains, and some are like white dragons hidden in the jungle; the waterfall in zhuchanggou is not as spectacular as Huangguoshu waterfall, nor as beautiful as NuoRiLang waterfall, but it has a unique charm, small and graceful.

Dashuzigou

There are countless landscapes in the ditch, such as qincaiping, three sisters sea, 80 gongtara, Wanli city and other natural beauty. Especially the ancient battlefield sites left by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Among them, Wanli City, the largest and basically intact ancient battlefield site, is more than 100 kilometers long. It includes castle, city wall, Fort, ammunition warehouse, camp, stone carving, trench, etc. Wanli city is built against the great wall of Beijing. Every 50-100 meters, there is a sentry post, which is located at the key or conspicuous place. Standing on the wall of the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the landscape within a radius of more than 30-40 kilometers. It is said that it will take at least seven or eight days to complete the ridge of the city wall. Relevant experts pointed out: Wanli city in suowu mountain scenic spot is the highest elevation, the largest scale and the best preserved physical basis left by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty in Jinchuan. It has great tourism and scientific exploration value.
