Jinque Palace

Since Tang and Song Dynasties, Baodu mountain has always been the coexistence of Buddhism and Taoism. At the beginning of liberation, there were South Temple and North Temple on the mountain. The South Temple was inhabited by monks, while the North Temple was the Jinque palace of Taoism. During the cultural revolution, the South Temple was destroyed. Although the Jinque palace survived, it also suffered considerable damage.

Introduction to scenic spots

Baodu Jinque palace is located in the north of zhaiding, adjacent to the north gate. The date of planning and construction is beyond examination. The stele should be rebuilt in the reign of emperor Shunzhi of Qing Dynasty. As the buildings left behind are dilapidated, the development of tourism is magnificent to the Jinque palace. Scale and style are not comparable in the past. In the middle of the hall is the Jade Emperor's hall, with a golden roof and red walls. The top of the hall paved with yellow glazed tiles is inlaid with the four characters "peace under the sun". There are two holy halls, Yuanchen hall, God of wealth hall, three palaces, Sanqing hall and Yuelao hall on the left and right.
