Ancient Uighur Village

Uighur ancient village is located in yargol village, Yar Township, Turpan City, with a history of hundreds of years. Turpan Flame Mountain

Located 10 kilometers northeast of Gaochang District, Turpan City, the main peak is 831.7 meters above sea level, 98 kilometers long and 9 kilometers wide. Every summer, the mountain in the sun, hot air rolling up, ochre red mountain seems to be burning.

Huoyanshan is the hottest place in China. Although there is no grass on its surface, many valleys in the mountainside are covered with green shade and the streams are murmuring. It is the "flower and fruit dock" in Huozhou. The famous Grape Valley is here. Because of the unique landform of Huoyanshan, and the story of Monkey King using banana fans to put out the fire of Huoyanshan in journey to the west, Huoyanshan is famous all over the world.

Grape Valley

Putaogou, 11 kilometers northeast of the city, is about 8 kilometers long from north to South and 2 kilometers wide from east to west. It is a canyon at the foot of Huoyan mountain, with a population of 8972. There is buyiluke river flowing through the ditch. The main water source is alpine snow melting. It is named for its rich grape production. It is a tourist attraction in Turpan, Xinjiang.

jiaohe ruins

Jiaohe Ancient City is the world's largest, oldest and best preserved earth building city. It is also the most complete urban relic preserved for more than 2000 years in China. Anxidu Prefecture, the highest military and political institution in the western regions of Tang Dynasty, was first set up in Jiaohe Ancient City. In 1961, it was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit.

It is located on an island platform 13 kilometers west of Gaochang District, Turpan city. Because the river flows around the city, it is called Jiaohe. It was the capital of cheshiqian state, one of the 36 countries in the western regions. Jiaohe City site is located in Yar Township, about 13 kilometers west of Gaochang District, Turpan City, and on a 30 meter high loess platform at the intersection of yarnaizigou River and yarnaizigou River, 10 kilometers west of Gaochang District, Turpan city. It is about 1650 meters long, narrow at both ends, and about 300 meters wide in the middle. It is a willow shaped peninsula. It is the former capital of Cheshi, one of the 36 cities in the western regions. It is the political, economic, military and cultural center of the country. The drought and less rain in Turpan made the old city well preserved. All the buildings were made of rammed earth, and the shape and layout were similar to that of Chang'an City in Tang Dynasty. Clay Bodhisattvas can also be found in the city's marketplace, government offices, Buddhist temples, pagodas, streets and alleys, as well as workshops, dwellings, military training grounds, Tibetan trenches, and Buddhist niches in temples. The temple covers an area of 5000 square meters and has a water well. There are 101 pagodas in the group. Looking down from the air, Jiaohe old city looks like a big willow leaf.
