Guifeng Mountain Provincial Forest Park in Guangdong Province is located at the east foot of Guifeng mountain in the northwest of Longmen County, Huizhou City, with an altitude of 1085 meters. It is one of the five highest peaks in Guangzhou. There are 9 peaks more than 1000m in the park and more than 30 peaks more than 650m in the park, most of which are on the boundary between southwest and southeast of the park.

The park is high in the South and low in the north. The southeast and southwest borders are mostly composed of high mountains, with a great difference in height, forming the terrain of two mountains and one ditch. The highest altitude (the top of Guifeng mountain) is 1085m, the lowest is 319m, and the relative elevation difference is nearly 800m. Natural climate

Guifengshan Forest Park is located near the north side of Tropic of cancer, which is a transitional zone between tropical and subtropical zone in China.

Biological resources

Guifengshan Forest Park is rich in animal resources and high biodiversity. There are 127 species of common wild animals in 53 families of 19 orders. Among them, there are 15 species in 5 families of 1 order Amphibia, 27 species in 11 families of 2 orders Reptilia, 59 species in 25 families of 10 orders ornitha and 26 species in 11 families of 6 orders mammals. In the forest park, there are 20 species of national key first and second level protected animals.

Vegetation condition

The forest coverage rate of the whole provincial forest park is as high as 90.5%, and the negative ions beneficial to human body in the mountains are as high as 200000 / cm3. There are 1030 species (including varieties and cultivated species) of vascular plants (excluding bryophytes) belonging to 535 genera and 179 families in guifengshan Forest Park, accounting for 18% of the plant species in Guangdong Province. Among them, there are 39 species of national key protected plants, such as Alsophila spinulosa, Bole tree and xianghuamu. It is a rare oasis on the Tropic of cancer. What is striking in the park is a "Wishing Tree - fulushou", which is a 300 year old Castanopsis kawakamii tree with a height of 15 meters and a crown of 100 square meters.

There are 474400 tons of water conservation and storage, during which there are more than 20 streams of different sizes, which finally flow into Xiaomiao stream. Xiaomiaoxi is one of the sources of Xilin River and Zengjiang River in Longmen County. Xiaomiaoxi is 7 km long in the forest park. There are stones in the shape of Millennium turtle, submarine and dolphin, as well as more than 50 meters long ancient vines. The vines are dark red and spiral down the big trees beside the stream, just like a boa constrictor resting by the water. There are fairy bath, Shuanglong waterfall, Yuanyang pool and other waterfalls in the park. The drop of fairy bath is more than 90 meters and the width is more than 20 meters. Its majestic momentum is rare among waterfalls in Guangdong Province.
