Four sages temple in Zhang'an

Zhang an's four sages temple is located in Xixian mountain, Anyang Town, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province. It is dedicated to the four sages of Song Dynasty, Xu Jingheng, Chen Fuliang, Yuan Gaoming and mingzhuojing. Because Ruian was formerly known as Zhang an, it is named after him. The temple was built in 1866, the fifth year of the reign of emperor Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty. In the 1980s, it had been repaired with funds and painted with portraits of four sages.
