Xiangui Bridge
Xiangui bridge was built in 1123 A.D. in the fifth year of Xuanhe in Song Dynasty, and it is still intact for more than 870 years. Located in Yangshuo County Baisha Town old county village north a Huali.
history
Xiangui bridge is the oldest existing single hole stone arch bridge in Guangxi. It was listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 1994.
characteristic
The bridge is 25.8 meters long, 4.16 meters wide and 2.2 meters high. It is built side by side in an extremely rare way. Xiangui bridge not only has a unique architectural structure, but also has stone carvings inside the arch, which are valuable materials for the study of Yulong River culture.
