Xiayanggeqi Forest Farm

Starting from wulikuma to xiayanggeqi, there is a winding mountain road, which is perhaps the most beautiful part of the whole journey.

Xiayanggeqi Forest Farm

Xiayanggeqi forest farm is subordinate to Inner Mongolia Genhe Forestry Bureau. It is located in the east of the north of Genhe Forestry Bureau, adjacent to kailaqi, wulikuma and shangyanggeqi forest farm in the East, West and south, and at the junction of Jinhe Forestry Bureau in the north. The forest farm has two construction areas, yanggeqi and wuliyite. The total construction area is 93542 hectares.

Brief introduction of Forest Farm

Xiayanggeqi forest farm is subordinate to Inner Mongolia Genhe Forestry Bureau. It is located in the east of the north of Genhe Forestry Bureau, adjacent to kailaqi, wulikuma and shangyanggeqi forest farm in the East, West and south, and at the junction of Jinhe Forestry Bureau in the north. The forest farm has two construction areas, yanggeqi and wuliyite. The total construction area is 93542 hectares, and the total forest area is 61744 hectares. The annual timber production of forest farms accounts for about one fifth of the global timber production. By 1998, a total of 2.77 million cubic meters of timber had been produced, 43006.5 mu of forestation and 64097 mu of tending forest land.

Historical evolution

Xiayangge gas forest farm was established in 1957. In 1964, it was renamed management office. In early 1965, the management office was renamed service station. By the end of 1965, the management office was restored, mainly engaged in forest production. In September 1969, the system of xiayangge gas forest farm was restored.
