Foyukou reservoir

It is about 90 kilometers from the center of Beijing. Construction started in January 1970 and completed in December 1974. It has a total storage capacity of 2.05 million cubic meters and a drainage area of 52 square kilometers. It has built two dams, two small hydropower stations and east-west irrigation canals. The dam is a concrete overflow arch dam with a maximum height of 49 meters, a crest length of 133 meters and a width of 2.7 meters; the total installed capacity of the small hydropower station is 481.4 dry watts, the total length of irrigation canal is 16.5 kilometers, and the irrigated farmland is 0.8 million mu.

Foyukou reservoir is located in fuyukou gully of Zhangshanying town in Yanqing County. It is about 90 kilometers from the center of Beijing.
