Xiaojinzhuang Mosque

Xiaojinzhuang mosque is located in Xiaojin village, north of Emei Mountain, Huaiyin District, Jinan City, with a history of more than 500 years. In addition to the Moslems in Benzhuang, there are also Moslems in the star community, with a total of about 4000 people a year. In xiaojinzhuang, the surnames of Jin, Zhou and Ma are the most common, and the surnames of Cui and Xin are also the most common. The total area of the mosque is 4452 square meters. The main hall of worship (including front hall, back hall, Baoxia), bath room, Nanjing hall, gatehouse, etc. are built in the temple. The main hall of worship is a palace building, and other modern buildings. The original North lecture hall, the main gate building, the second lecture hall and the small bathroom were destroyed in the "Cultural Revolution" and not rebuilt.

Historical evolution

Jinan xiaojinzhuang mosque is located in Xiaojin village, north of Emei Mountain, Huaiyin District. It was first built in the Ming Dynasty (1490) and became the Jin family in the village. The main hall covers an area of 350 square meters. The original location was rebuilt in 1999, and the last renovation was in 2009. There is a large screen wall in front of the hall, 15.7 meters long from north to south, and the top of the wall is palace style. In 1996, a new Muslim women's temple was built in the south of the mosque, with a construction area of 50 square meters. The two temples cover a total area of 4452 square meters and a building area of 1370 square meters.

The temple sits in the West and faces the East. It is composed of the main hall and the back hall. There are murals on both sides of the back hall. In front of the hall are inscribed plaques by Bai Chongxi, general of the Kuomintang, Jin Baozhen, vice chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, and Ding Wenfang.

Renovation and reconstruction

It is said that the ancestor of the Jin family in xiaojinzhuang moved to Shandong in the middle of Ming Dynasty. The two brothers, brother Jinhua and brother Jinrong, live in Pengjiazhuang, Changqing County. Pengjiazhuang is in the northeast of xiaojinzhuang. Later, because of the conflict with the neighboring ZHUJIAZHUANG, through the mediation of Changqing County Government, their brother Jinrong returned to liushuzhuang, Nanjing, and their brother Jinhua Branch stayed in Pengjiazhuang. This is about the year of Tianqi (1621-1627 A.D.). Later Jin's ancestors discovered that duandian's xiaoemei mountain area was fertile and suitable for family development, so they moved from Pengjiazhuang to the west of xiaojinzhuang, named xijinzhuang (about 1627). Jin's mosque was first built in Pengjiazhuang, which was founded in the third year of Hongzhi (1490) of Ming Dynasty. Later, it moved to xijinzhuang and built another temple. This is the tenth year of Chongzhen (1637). In 1649, the Jin family moved eastward again from the original site to xiaoemei, forming the prototype of xiaojinzhuang today. It is said that the foundation of xijinzhuang mosque was just like a few decades ago, and the old bricks and tiles can be discerned. Therefore, it can be seen that the xiaojinzhuang Temple today was built in the early Qing Dynasty. In 1729, the rear hall was added. In 1831, Jin CE, a member of the Xinmao imperial examination, presided over the reconstruction of the xiaojinzhuang mosque in 1840, and wrote articles to erect a monument. The original location was rebuilt in 1999, and the last renovation was in 2009.

According to the annals of Changqing County, "every temple is more than 40 Li in the northeast of the county, but zhaojiaying is more than 20 li away from the city. The most ancient and grand building is the xiaojinzhuang mosque. " It's a record. It is said that xiaojinzhuang temple at that time had the reputation of "the first temple of Changqing", and many historical celebrities had been here and left inscriptions. For example, Bai Chongxi, a general of the Kuomintang, had been here and inscribed "Liyuan yiben" with a plaque hanging at the main entrance of the hall. Unfortunately, the original plaque was lost during the cultural revolution and was later restored according to the photos. In addition, there are inscriptions by Jin Baozhen, vice chairman of the CPPCC Shandong Provincial Committee, and a plaque entitled "upholding the Orthodox Church" by Ding Wenfang in front of the hall. Ma Liang, then governor of Shandong Province, inscribed "diligence, morality and dedication" for Xiaojin mosque. Ma Fuyuan, once vice chairman of Mongolia Tibet Committee and mayor of Qingdao special city, inscribed "Tao Miao, nature" for Xiaojin mosque. Both plaques were not repaired after being damaged. Now there are also inscriptions in the temple, such as the "Treaty of encouraging good deeds in the mosque" of the Qing Dynasty.
