Tiger mouth terrace is located in Panzhihua Township, more than 10 kilometers away from Qingkou, half an hour by car. When the highway was built in the 1950s, a gap was cut on a cliff. The highway passed through the cliff. The gap was very like an open tiger mouth, which was called Tiger mouth by local people.

When the snow splashed, like tens of thousands of string broken pearls, they fell down abruptly along the overhanging cliffs, fell into the bottomless abyss, and roared earth shaking. But the river roared like a fierce beast, making a deafening roar, as if the whole canyon was shaking. Every time the sun sets in the Western Hills, the "tiger mouth" is surrounded by a rainbow, and the top of the snow peak is crimson.

The best time to visit Linzhi is from April to October. Linzhi is located in the south of Tibet. Influenced by various types of climate, such as subtropical zone and alpine zone, the climate in different areas is also different. The Grand Canyon alone has different climate characteristics due to different altitudes (see the article "Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon" in local characteristics for details).

Chayu, located in the transitional zone between Hengduan Mountains and Himalayas, is warm and humid due to the influence of Indian Ocean warm and humid monsoon, with annual average temperature above 5 ℃. Yigong is called "beautiful" in Tibetan. There are many long and narrow terraces around Yigong River Valley and lake. The lowest altitude is 1900 meters and the highest is 2300 meters. The annual average temperature is 11.24 ℃. It is the highest tea farm in the world.

Transportation guide

Nyingchi is one of the only pure lands in the world which is rarely involved by human beings. It has always been a holy land for scientific research and exploration, which also causes inconvenience in tourism transportation. To travel to Nyingchi, the car is the only means of transportation, and some places without roads have to walk. If you want to get to Linzhi, you can take a plane to Lhasa first, and then take a shuttle bus to Linzhi. The starting time of the shuttle bus is 8:00 in the morning. The mileage of the road from Lhasa to Bayi Town of Linzhi is 633 kilometers, and the ticket price is 155 yuan. It passes through Mozhu gongka and gongbujiangda. In addition, the road sections connected with Linzhi are: Linzhi Ranwu, 345 kilometers, Tongmai and Bomi; Zedang Linzhi, 475 kilometers Km, via Gacha and Milin.

Tourist routes

Take a shuttle bus from Bomi to Bayi, then from Bayi to Pailong, walk from Pailong to zaqu, and visit the great bend of the Yarlung Zangbo River and the deepest canyon in the world, then from zaqu to Pailong. On the way, you can visit the villages of Menba nationality and enjoy the primeval forest. Finally, you can take a bus from Pailong to Milin, from Milin to Jiacha in Shannan area, and enjoy the scenery of the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon.

Scenic spot traffic

From Linzhi to basongcuo and other major scenic spots, you can rent a jeep at Bayi Town Post and telecommunications office. You can take 6 people, 700 yuan for two days.
