YAMANSU Town, belonging to Yizhou District of Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Hami City, bordering XINGXINGXIA in the East, Dunhuang City in Gansu Province in the east by south, Ruoqiang County in bayinguole Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in the East, daquanwan Township in the west, Qincheng and rural areas in the north, 275 km away from Hami Municipal People's government. The area is 9646 square kilometers. In 2018, 147 people registered residence.

In 1958, Yamansu iron mine was built by great leap forward. Yamansu town was established in 1984. As of October 2019, Yamansu town has one central community.

In 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in YAMANSU Town, and 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Yamansu town is located in the eastern end of the East Tianshan Mountains, on the piedmont plain of the South Tianshan depression, which is a closed basin. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The town is flat and open, with an average altitude of 906 meters.
