Shapowei typhoon shelter

·Xiamen's only remaining ancient port is named because it is the end of a large section of sand beach, and the sand from all over will flow here.

·It used to be the most prosperous fishing port in Xiamen, with 10000 or 20000 people and nearly 4000 fishing boats in its heyday. It is the starting point for the people to go out and return home.

·In 2015, after dredging by the government, the typhoon shelter was no longer used as a fishing port, but the fishing boats with Minnan style were retained on the surface of the lake. If you are lucky, you can still see egrets skimming over the water. Friends who like photography must not miss it.

Walking mode: walk 600 meters along the university road to the art West District, or continue to walk along the university road to shapowei

3. Siming Campus Station of Xiamen Institute of Technology

Route: Route 1, 2, 20, 21, 22, 29, 45, 48, 96, 122, 135, 659, 841, 857.

Walking mode: walk 200 meters, turn left into beehive mountain road, walk 2 minutes, turn left into university road, namely shapowei area; continue straight for 2 minutes, turn right and walk 100 meters to see the art west district.
