Lanruo Temple (Laifo Temple) of Huangpao mountain is located in the southwest of Gaoshan lake, Wanghu village, Huangpao mountain, Tanghu Town, Tongcheng County, Xianning City, Hubei Province. It was built in the Han Dynasty (about 118-105 BC). It was built in the Han Dynasty after Zhang Qian, the envoy of the Han Dynasty, sent his deputy envoy to Daxia (a part of today's Indo Kingdom) to deal with the poison. Because Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was open to accommodate all kinds of things, Huangpao mountain is located in the south of the Yellow River Because of the remoteness of the Imperial City, the poisonous people were able to introduce Buddhism and build temples in Huangpao mountain. Because it is one of the earliest Buddhist temples in China, it is named lanruo Temple (Laifo Temple). It is more than 2100 years ago, slightly earlier than Baima temple in Luoyang and Putong Temple in Nangong, and even earlier than Wutai Mountain in Shanxi, Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang, Emei Mountain in Sichuan and Jiulong temple in Anhui The temples in Huashan and other places can be described as the "Buddha source" and "ancestor" of Chinese Buddhist temples.
