The Yellow River Delta eco-cultural tourism island covers an area of 25.9 square kilometers, surrounded by water on all sides. It has beautiful scenery, unique ecosystem, rich natural resources, and a wide range of wild animals and plants. Among them, there is no lack of national protected rare birds. It has been previously named as a National Water Conservancy Scenic Spot, a national five-star demonstration base for leisure agricultural tourism, the first batch of national field scientific observation and research bases Top ten leisure farms and national wetland parks in China.

At the 2018 China Yellow River Tourism Conference, the Yellow River Delta eco cultural tourism island was rated as "50 scenic spots of the Yellow River in China".

Recently, the Yellow River Delta ecological and cultural tourism island in Wudi County of Binzhou has been successfully upgraded to the national 4A scenic spot, becoming the first national 4A scenic spot in the county, and the fourth national 4A scenic spot in Binzhou City after hepanshan, Du Shoutian's former residence and Sunzi's ancient city.

The Yellow River Delta eco-cultural tourism island is composed of five parks: cultural and Creative Industry Park, leisure and fishery demonstration park, agriculture and forestry efficient industry park, ecological salt tourism park and wetland park.
