Huifeng Village

Huifeng village, located in niujiashan village, qiankunwan Town, Yanchuan County, was founded in the 25th year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty. It is one of the earliest fortifications in Northern Shaanxi. Shanzhai is adjacent to the Yellow River in the East and surrounded by mountains on three sides. It has unique natural and cultural landscape and is praised as Xiaohua mountain in Northern Shaanxi by tourists.

Huifeng Village

Huifeng village is located in niujiashan village, qiankunwan Town, Yanchuan County. The Shanzhai is adjacent to the Yellow River in the East and surrounded by water on three sides. The artificial remains in the Shanzhai were built in the 25th year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty. Relying on the natural danger of Huifeng mountain, the ancients built the walls, gates and watchtowers of the village, forming a trend of "the tiger dominates the dragon and is as firm as gold". It has become one of the earliest existing military fortifications in Northern Shaanxi and is known as the "Xiaohua mountain" in Northern Shaanxi.

Huifeng village is towering and precipitous. It is adjacent to the Yellow River graben in the East and the deep valley of Zhaihe River in the southwest. It is surrounded by cliffs and craggy Cliffs. Only a narrow Yaoxian road in the northwest connects with the mountain village.

Topographical structure

There is an anticline fold on the southeast side of huifengzhai, and the rock strata are wavy and curved, which is the witness of the monoclinic warping structure in Northern Shaanxi formed by geological tectonic movement; there is a line of mysterious characters on the cliff on the north side of the foot of the mountain, which is hard to decipher, and is known as "the book of cliffs" and so on. Many ancient ancestors' miracles, such as these, appear near the mountain village, which is undoubtedly the confirmation of the Yellow River civilization The remains, such as remnant houses, broken temples, stone tablets, stone bridges, stone mills, and so on, are evidence of the shelter of the ancestors and the frequent wars in ancient times. In this view, you can feel the vicissitudes of "the Yellow River flows day and night, metabolizing into the past and present"!
