Yuanming Palace

Yuanming palace, also known as Yuanming palace and Yuanming palace, is a Taoist temple. It is in the north of Qingcheng Mountain Gate, Qingcheng Town, Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province. It was built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1573-1620) and has been repaired many times. There are three halls and five courtyards in the palace, which are mainly dedicated to the worship of Taoist fairies such as Sanguan emperor, doulao Yuanjun, wanglingguan, etc. The forest outside the palace is lush and covered by green mist. The environment is quiet and the scenery is charming. The biggest feature of Taoist temple is the dense forest of Phoebe, which was planted in Taoist temple by Taoists of all ages. It is the most concentrated area of Phoebe in Qingcheng Mountain. It is one of the most elegant Taoist temples in Qingcheng Mountain. At the same time, there is a Taoist Academy of Yuanming palace in Qingcheng Mountain, where many tourists and health lovers live for years.

There are many cultural relics in Yuanming palace, especially the decorative wood and stone carvings of Taoist buildings. Some inscriptions, plaques, calligraphy and painting also exist.

Geography

Yuanming palace is located on the north side of Qianshan, the world cultural heritage of Qingcheng Mountain, in the gentle slope valley of Muyu mountain in the north of zhangren mountain. About 800 meters above sea level, within a radius of 1 km, only this Taoist temple. Founded in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, it has a history of more than 400 years. It is named after the worship of Yuanming Taoist mother Tianzun. There are four halls in the palace: the former is lingzu hall, which worships Lingguan statues; the second is Laojun hall, which worships Taishang Laojun; the third is Doumu hall, which is Yuanming Taoist mother Tianzun, which is the mother of Beidou stars; the back is Sanguan hall, which is dedicated to Fengtian, di and shuisanguan Dadi, as well as Quanzhen Taoist Lu Zu, Qiu Zu and Chongyang grandmaster. Between the halls, there are courtyards, inside and outside the palace, auspicious grass, rare flowers, Phoebe forest, pine and bamboo lush, there is an impromptu Lianyun: "planting bamboo, planting pine, bamboo hidden Phoenix, pine hidden crane; cultivating mountains and water, mountain hidden tiger, leopard, water hidden dragon." The environment is very quiet and pleasant.

Guannei

The Taoist temple of Yuanming palace in Qingcheng Mountain was originally called Qingxu temple, which was named after the worship of Yuanming Taoist mother Tianzun. It was built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and destroyed in the end of Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt in 1859. There's an aftertaste. Lingzu Pavilion and guest rooms were built in 1987 and 1992. The main halls are lingzu hall, Doumu hall, etc. There are two Qing Dynasty steles, which record the history.

From the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, until the reconstruction in 2008, the Yuanming palace was well preserved. Due to the deep mountains, Guannei maintained the traditional farming method, self-sufficiency, and retained a vegetable garden, pigsty and chicken house.

In addition to the Grand Hall of the ancient temple, Nanxiang inn is also set up to receive guests.

Praise the master

Zhang Daoling was named Daoling at the beginning and Daoling at the end. His name is Fu Han. He is the eighth grandson of Zhang Liang (Zifang). He was born in Fengxian of Pei state in the later Han Dynasty. (born in the evening of the 15th day of the first month of the 10th year of Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 34). Zhang Daoling created the school of Taoism, which is called the way of Zhengyi alliance, or Zhengyi road for short. However, those who follow the Tao must produce five Dou rice, which is called Wudou rice Tao in the world. Taoists call him Zhang Tianshi, zutianshi and Zhengyi immortal. Since Zhang Daoling officially founded Taoism in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Taoism has a history of nearly 2000 years in China. In the process of its own inheritance and development, Taoism constantly absorbs the essence of Chinese traditional culture, which is one of the main ideological pillars of Chinese traditional culture. What is the relationship between Zhang Daoling and Yuanming palace in Qingcheng Mountain? According to a large number of materials, Zhang Daoling practiced Taoism in famous Taoist mountains such as Longhu Mountain, Heming mountain and Qingcheng Mountain. Bigu is one of the Taoist health preservation methods, and the founder of Taoism chose Qingcheng Mountain as the environment for cultivation, which fully shows that the Yuanming palace in Qingcheng Mountain has a natural Taoist temple.

Li Zhenguo (1880-1984), also known as Li Zhengguo and Peng Zefeng, is honored as Lao Dao and grandfather Peng. His original surname was Li, and his later name was Peng, Lei Feng and Ting long. Later it was renamed Zefeng, or Zefeng. In 1927, he was ordained in erxian'an, Chengdu, and his surname was restored. He was named Zhenguo, Zhengguo or buxuzi. He was born in Guanyinchang (now Hujian township), Anyue County. He is 6 years old and moved to yunfengchang, Anyue County. He is not only a well-known Gaodao in China, but also a mysterious legend.

Li Zhenguo traveled to the Taoist temple of Yuanming palace in Qingcheng Mountain to practice. Li Zhenguo, who is known as Peng Laodao, has profound Daoism and excellent medical skills. He has a solid foundation in martial arts, qigong and Dandao, and is upright and highly respected. He is thrifty and effective in treating people's diseases, and can rise and sink once. For the convenience of the masses, he led the students to develop more than 20 kinds of patent medicines, such as Guanyin ointment, Yongquan ointment, zijinding, jishixiandan, suheyin, 606, etc. Jieeryin, the best-selling drug in the market, was developed by his disciples and others on the basis of the danfang he taught them. His life has made great contributions to the people's health and morality, and he is deeply loved by the people. On October 23, 1984, Peng Laodao died of no illness at the age of 104.

Culture

The environment of Qingcheng Mountain is the most elegant and the best place for Qingxiu. Yuanming palace ranks first in the whole Qingcheng Mountain. Therefore, there has been a saying since ancient times that "the world culture looks at China, the Chinese idle people (satisfied with leisure and health) look at Sichuan, the quiet Sichuan looks at Qingcheng, the quiet Qingcheng looks at Yuanming". Therefore, there has always been a saying in Sichuan that "Sichuan produces immortals" or "Sichuan produces talents".

Yuanming palace, as a demonstration project of Qingcheng Mountain Taoist temple development, is based on the revival of traditional Quanzhen Taoist practice and traditional culture. There are Taoist culture lecture hall and Taoist health training lecture hall in the Taoist temple. In 2016, the new pilgrim Inn was opened to provide pilgrims with a place for long-term practice.
