Xianrentai National Forest Park covers a total area of 29 square kilometers. Most of the ancient pine trees with more than 100 years old are distributed in this scenic area. Traffic information

From Anshan railway station, there is No.8 bus leading to Qianshan on Jianguo South Road, 2 yuan / person. The bus stop is just opposite Anshan railway station and in front of KFC. You can get to the scenic spot in about 40 minutes.

History and culture

Xianrentai, not Xianrentai. Why is it called Xianrentai? It is said that a long time ago, on the top of the mountain, there were always fairy music, colorful phoenixes and green cars around them. All the immortals came in teams. They set up a chess game on the top of the mountain. It was often difficult to win or lose. So they asked the Antarctic fairy to watch the game and judge. After a long time, it turned into a stone. Up to now, there are still nine immortals stone statues and stone chessboard on the peak, so it is named Xianren chess platform for short. Xianrentai, 708.3 meters above sea level, is the highest peak of Qianshan Scenic spot. At the foot of the mountain, there are temples and Taoist temples such as Da'an temple, Zhonghui temple, Xiangyan temple and Wulong palace, all of which have mountain roads leading to Xianrentai from different directions. Xianrentai steep rock peaks straight into the cloud surface, the peak head like snake back, northeast southwest trend, 20 meters long, 5 meters wide, for uneven coarse-grained granite. There are deep gullies on the west, South and north sides of the peak. If you look down, it's really frightening. Only the east side has a way to the top of the mountain. There is a huge stone column on the top of the mountain, which is in the shape of four edges, 7 meters high and 25 meters in diameter. It looks like a goose head, so it is called goose head peak. It is said that it was the place where the crane was raised in Dingling.

According to Tao Yuanming's SouShen postscript, Ding Lingwei, the magistrate of Liaoyang, studied Taoism in lingxu mountain. After a thousand years, Hua he flew back to Liaodong and flew to the immortal platform, often luring people into the mountain to study Taoism with fairy music. There are three seal characters "Xianrentai" carved on the cliff of etou peak, which were inscribed in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty.

Traffic information: it's not too far to walk to Qianshan main gate by self driving. You can find it by asking Jicui gate. It takes two days to go up the mountain. One leads to Xianrentai, and the other leads to Wulong palace through Zhonghui temple.
