Shengshui Pavilion
Shengshui Pavilion is located at the foot of Mount Emei Huangmao peak. It is known as Shenshui nunnery in Ming Dynasty because of the Yuye spring in front of the pavilion. The existing Sanhe courtyard has a building area of 876 square meters. Spring out of the stone, crystal clear, not dry all year round, commonly known as Shenshui, Qing Qianlong (1736-1795) changed its name.
Main attractions
In the scorching heat of summer, mountain walkers come here and enjoy every water they get to quench their thirst. There are many inscriptions on the stone wall beside the spring, among which the word "da'e" was written by Lu Chunyang, and the word "Fu Shou" was written by Chen Xiyi in the Later Zhou Dynasty. The word "Shenshui" was written by Zhang Jingxian of Meishan in hongwuzhong of Ming Dynasty. Calligraphy is rich and elegant, which can be called the top grade. The original temple on the side of the pavilion has been abandoned.
