Gaoyou folk song is a popular folk song in Lixiahe area of Northern Jiangsu Province. Its Ci and music can be traced back to the "scattered flowers" in the ancient "exorcising" performance. From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, the development of Gaoyou folk songs was at its peak.
