Feiyun Pavilion, formerly known as Wangyun Pavilion, is located in the north of Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province. It was built in the late Tang Dynasty.

At that time, Wei Quan served as the governor of Fuzhou. He organized the people to build the city wall, which took three years to build the outer city and the sub city. It has three gates. The east gate is called Chengchun gate, the south gate is called Tongjiao gate, and the north gate is called Wangyun gate. Each gate has a high Pavilion, and the high Pavilion of Wangyun gate is called Wangyun Pavilion. In ancient times, Wangyun Pavilion, Chengchun Pavilion and Tongjiao Pavilion were always "standing in opposition" and complemented each other. But I don't know when Wangyun pavilion was renamed "Feiyun Pavilion"

Records of literature and history

It is said that there are many famous couplets in Feiyun Pavilion. Among them, one couplet says: "the eternal love story of Feiyun Pavilion is between Hengyu; the river is not abandoned, and the fragrance of a flap of the heart is in the pavilion". Another couplet says: "the willows in the morning, the Hibiscus in the early days, the poems and the flowers in the early days, and the wine and wine become elegant collections; the flying clouds in Nanpu, the rolling rain in the western mountains, the river city like a painting, and the Grand View of the first floor" is full of praise for Feiyun Pavilion.

Feiyun pavilion has been rebuilt many times. It is said that at the end of Ming Dynasty, Feiyun pavilion was rebuilt successfully again, and four talented scholars, Chen (Ji Tai), Luo (WAN Zao), Zhang (Shi Chun) and AI (Nan Ying), were invited to write the name of the pavilion. The four talented men readily agreed. They came to the newly built attic. Chen Jitai wrote a big word "Fei" on the plaque. Luo Wanzao wrote a big word "Yun" on the plaque, but he didn't write the last point. Zhang Shichun wrote a big word "Ge" on the plaque. AI Nanying seems to have nothing to do. At this time, the principal found that the word "cloud" was a little less, so he asked Luo Wanzao to fill it up. Luo Wanzao said with a smile, "if you're not busy, someone will make it up. Please hang up the plaque first. " When the principal heard this, he muttered in his heart. Thought: fill a little how to hang up? Isn't it better to lay it flat? He didn't know what medicine was sold in the gourd, so he had to hang the plaque on the pavilion. Seeing that the plaque was fixed, AI Nan Ying picked up a ball of soft hemp, dipped it in thick ink, "Deng Deng" went down the pavilion, stepped on a horse, and "De De De" ran out of the pavilion. After running more than 10 steps, he strangled his horse, turned around and threw the ink ball in his hand to the pavilion. Only heard a "whoosh", Mo Tuan impartial, in the middle of the flying cloud Pavilion plaque "cloud" point. "Good! That's a good complement There was an immediate burst of applause in the crowd. After the event, people carefully looked at the three words "Feiyun Pavilion" written by the four people, and felt that they were natural, vigorous and powerful.

Today, in wujiaxiang, Southeast of Fuzhou No.1 middle school, there is a feiyunge community. However, the geographical location of the community is quite different from the original site of the ancient Feiyun Pavilion.
