Lake Akekule (White Lake)

Akkule lake is located in the mountain belt of the western slope of bidiertao. The lake is Y-shaped, 6600 meters long and 1900 meters wide. It covers an area of 8.5 square kilometers. The water of the lake is milky translucent, white in appearance and a little turbid. The reason is that the inner moraine and surface moraine rock blocks in the upstream glacier are squeezed and ground into white powder by the glacier movement, which is brought into the river and into the lake, making the water of the lake white. Therefore, the Kazakh language calls it Akekule, which means "White Lake".

The surface of the lake is as smooth as a mirror, with peaks rising all around, glaciers covered in silver, grasslands covered with flowers, floating clouds in the air, and Colors changing rapidly. The most complete Siberian Taijialin is preserved here, and the rare Xinjiang five needle pine grows here. Because of a huge stone lying in the mouth of the White Lake, it blocks the formation of the rushing water. The scenery is very spectacular. The lake water here is white all the year round, which is rare. It is said that the glacier movement crushed granite into white powder, brought it into the river and then poured it into the lake. White Lake is also a place for cold water fish to gather and ovulate. Every autumn, it becomes a paradise for all kinds of cold water fish to breed.
