Guanghui temple in Zhengding is located in the east of Yanzhao South Road and the north of Guanghui Road, which is 300 meters away from Linji temple.

Guanghui temple, one of the Eight Temples in Zhengding, was built in 785-804 A.D. There is only one Huata in the temple, so it is also called "Huata Temple". "Zhengding Guanghui Temple Pagoda" has a very high historical, architectural, aesthetic value. In 1961, it was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council.

Guanghui temple, one of the Eight Temples in Zhengding, is located in the east of Zhengding historical and cultural district. Founded in AD 785-804 (Zhengyuan period of Tang Dynasty), it is one of the Eight Temples in Zhengding. During the prosperous period, the temple was 196 meters wide from east to west and 239 meters long from north to south. From the south to the north, the temple buildings are Tianwang hall, QianDian hall, Huata hall and dizang hall. Because there is only one Huata in the temple, it is also called "Huata Temple".

Huata, commonly known as Huata, is also known as duobaota. According to records, Huata was built in the Tang Dynasty. The existing Huata is an important relic of the Jin Dading period. It was repaired in Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are many different records about the founding date of Guanghui Temple Pagoda. From the modeling point of view, Guanghui Temple Pagoda belongs to the flower pagoda type. The important feature is that the upper part of the pagoda is decorated with various complicated flowers, which looks like a huge bouquet. This kind of pagoda was formed in the song, Liao and Jin Dynasties, and almost disappeared after the Yuan Dynasty. There are only a dozen existing pagodas in China. Zhengding pagoda is one of the few existing pagodas with the most peculiar shape and the most beautiful decoration. It is an isolated example in China. Its artistic value and important position in the history of Chinese architecture have been recognized by the ancient architectural circles.

In Guanghui temple, there is no Buddha, hall or monk's house, only one pagoda. According to the records of Zhengding Prefecture, the tower is 13 Zhang and 5 feet high. The main tower has four floors, with an octagonal shape on the plane and a flat hexagonal pavilion shaped small tower built on each corner to connect with the main tower. At present, only the remains of the small tower are left. Most of the eaves of each floor of the main tower are decorated with brick and imitated wood structure, the first floor to the third floor are octagonal in plane, and the bottom floor has four front doors. 2、 The third floor is equipped with flat seats, besides the front door, side decorated with niches and inclined square false windows. Above the third tower is the upper part of the flower tower, which is about one third of the total height of the tower. According to the vertical line of eight sides and octagons, the images of tiger, lion, elephant, dragon, Buddha and Bodhisattva are carved. The octagonal pagoda is built on the roof. The Tasha is gone.

Confused with errors and omission, the top part of the huagatta Temple of Guanghui temple is the essence of the whole tower. The flower shaped tower occupies about 1/3 of the whole. On the basis of the vertical line of eight octagonal, carved figures of lion, elephant, Buddha, Bodhisattva, beast head, and heavenly king Li are all carved and molded. To the north of the main tower, there are steps to climb through the chamber of the tower to the second floor. There are three rooms on each side of the tower, four open doors on the front, two rooms and four inclined windows on each side. On the second floor, there is still an ambulatory. On the inner wall of the ambulatory, there are niches. The two walls of the slope are distributed correspondingly. There are four niches in a group, arranged in two rows. From the north gate to the third floor, the cloister disappears, and the tower is suddenly small, which makes the seat quite spacious. There are false doors on the East and west sides of the pagoda. The remaining four inclined planes are false windows. A door is opened on the south side. Inside is the chamber of the pagoda. There are two Buddha statues of Shijia and Duobao in the Tang Dynasty. The Buddha's head was lost in his early years, and he sat down on the square waist binding Xumi seat. The waist binding place is used as a musician, and the four sides of the seat are engraved with inscriptions. Under the eaves, the Dou arch is built, and the 60 degree inclined Hua arch is made up. The three storeys to four storeys are the plastic parts of the pagoda, and also the essence of the tower. There are all kinds of artistic forms, such as Lishi, sea beast, lion elephant, Buddha, Bodhisattva, etc. the octagonal and octahedral shapes of the statues are staggered, and the overall shape is extremely beautiful. The fourth floor is the top of the pagoda. Under the eaves, a bucket arch is built, and a Tiaohua arch is built between the eaves. On the top, there is a Tiaohua arch with eight ridges and green tiles. On the top, there is the top of the pagoda with eight ridges and green tiles. The top of the first and second floors of the tower is a brick caisson, and the remaining murals on the interior wall of the third floor are stacked as many as three to five floors. It is speculated that they may be caused by previous maintenance.

In 1961, it was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit. Due to years of disrepair, approved by the State Administration of cultural relics, Hebei Institute of ancient architecture is responsible for the design and construction. From April 1995 to September 1999, the main tower was renovated and the four corner tower was restored.

The rebuilt Huata stands in the antique historical and Cultural District of Zhengding ancient city, hidden in the scattered dwellings. It is full of vicissitudes and extremely beautiful. It interprets the calm and delicacy of the ancient times, and describes the present life of the historical and cultural district.
