Hetang Yuese Wetland Park is located at 4575 West Taiyang Road (Huangqiao Street), Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is located at the north foot of Huqiu mountain, about 16 kilometers away from the urban area. As far back as the spring and Autumn period, it was the fiefdom of Huang Xie, the Prime Minister of Chu. At that time, Chu lotus root was introduced into this wetland.

Later, Fan Li, the official of Yue State, abandoned his official position and hid here. He dug rivers to release flood water and raised fish, which accumulated rich Wu culture. Today, in this picturesque hinterland of water, relying on the lotus pond wetland ecosystem, it integrates eco-tourism, leisure tourism, lotus culture industry, popular science education and wetland protection, and will become the largest lotus themed Urban Wetland Park in China. Water garden
