Penglai's Dengzhou Museum has an investment of 5 million yuan and a building area of 1300 square meters. It consists of six parts: the hall, the old rhyme hall, the Millennium ancient hall, the Haiphong town hall, the essence Hall of the cultural relics, and the hall of celebrity's hometown. There are 307 cultural relics on display in the museum, including 4 first-class cultural relics, 12 second-class cultural relics, 45 third-class cultural relics, and 246 other non designated cultural relics.

The total area of the building is 1300 square meters, which is composed of the hall, the ancient rhyme hall, the Millennium ancient port hall, the Haihai heavy town hall, the essence Hall of the cultural relics, and the six Hall of the famous hometown hall.

Through the display of cultural relics, models, photos and territory, it comprehensively and objectively shows the local history of Penglai, the underwater and land historical relics of Penglai, the development history of Penglai water city, the historical celebrities and revolutionary tradition history of Penglai. Its setting of content and form breaks the traditional mode of display in historical order, with prominent emphasis, novel topic and strong local characteristics. The museum has complete fire safety facilities, lighting, heating, refrigeration, ventilation, communication and disabled access facilities.
