Girl lake is a lake, located in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Xilin Gol League Duolun County CaiMuShan nature reserve on a river head.

Introduction to lakes

Girl lake, Mongolian name is "huchennaoer", meaning "7 lakes", 48 kilometers away from the county, is located in the edge of Hunshandake sandy land, is a natural lake.

It is 720 meters long from north to south, 270 meters wide from east to west, and covers an area of 6.2 hectares. There is no survey data for water depth, showing an irregular shape.

The girl lake used to be called Moon Lake. It is said that after the opening of duolunnur commercial port, Hong Changshun, the young owner of Shengkui, the capital business firm, came to Moon Lake with the second shopkeeper and several clerks. When he passed through duolunnur, he encountered heavy snow blocking the road. In desperation, Hong Changshun and his friends had to live in a herdsman's home. This herdsman has a beautiful daughter named ulantoya. Beautiful ulantoya and Hong Changshun fell in love at first sight, so the two young people decided to live in private. This matter was soon known by the inspection of duolunnur hall at that time. He had long coveted ulantoya's beauty and wanted to take her for his own. He arrested Hong Changshun on the ground that Meng Han could not intermarry, and found another reason to sentence him to death. After hearing the news, ulantoya was heartbroken and finally threw herself into the moon lake. After ulantoya died, Hong Changshun's family spent a lot of money to protect him. Knowing that his beloved girl is dead, Hong Changshun wanders around the lake where ulantoya committed suicide day and night. One day, Hong Changshun, in a trance, saw ulantoya's figure rising from the center of the lake. While shouting his sweetheart's name, he ran to the center of the lake and was eventually drowned. From then on, people changed the name of moon lake to girl lake.
