Suzhou Shangfangshan National Forest Park

Suzhou Shangfangshan National Forest Park is located in Shihu scenic spot, a national Taihu Lake scenic spot, about 4.5km southwest of Suzhou ancient city. It is a natural scenic spot integrating Wuyue relics and Jiangnan idyllic landscape. During the spring and Autumn period, it was the place where the nobles of Wu Kingdom hunted and worshiped, and the ancient battlefield where Wu and Yue fought for supremacy. The park covers an area of 500 hectares. The forest coverage rate is more than 95%. There are many kinds of plants, including 89 families and more than 300 species. Development and construction

The stone man, stone beast, tomb path and three ring arch gate of Shen Shixing's tomb, which is the "Minister of the Ministry of officials" in Ming Dynasty, were renovated and not opened to the public. In 1996, Miaoxiang Garden Co., Ltd. of Japan invested in the construction of "Sino Japanese Peace Garden" and "Golden Buddha", and jointly built the "sightseeing cableway" of 888 meters.
