The former residence of Zhang Boju and pan Su is the residence of Zhang Boju and pan Su in their later years. The hospital is not a standard quadrangle, but two rows of bungalows in the north and south.

Zhang Boju and Zhang Chuancai, the only daughter of Pan Su and his wife, inherited the private house. She worked hard to build the memorial and moved out when she was 78. Zhang Chuancai and his son Lou Kaizhao cooperated with the Chinese social and cultural development foundation directly under the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China, which promoted the establishment of the memorial.
