Seven Star Mountain

Qixing mountain is a natural scenic spot in Shenbei New District of Shenyang City. Formed in the late Jurassic, it is composed of seven mountain tops, such as Nanshan and Tashan. It is named because its mountain shape distribution is like the arrangement of the Big Dipper. Qixing mountain is located in the north of Liaohe River. It has beautiful natural scenery and more than 20 gullies, such as foxdagou. It also has rich cultural landscape, such as the Liao Dynasty pagoda built in 1074, the stone Buddha and temple built by Tuoba family in Northern Wei Dynasty, the site of Shuangzhou ancient city, the site of Hanjia garden built in Liao and Jin Dynasties, the Ming side wall and beacon tower, and the Liaohe dike and monument built by Zuo family in Qing Dynasty, Modern war blockhouses, etc.

According to the stone tablet unearthed from the underground palace of the pagoda, the qixingshan pagoda is the relic pagoda of shijiazhai jingjuyuan in Shuangcheng County, Shuangzhou, Liaoning Province. It was built in 1074. The pagoda is hexagonal. It is not known whether there is a pagoda chamber or not. It is difficult to verify why the Buddha is in the niche, which leaves many puzzles for today's people. The location of Shuangcheng County in liaoshuangzhou is also one of these puzzles. It is said that Shuangzhou city is located in the south of Qixing mountain, that is, in Shenbei New District; it is said that it is in Faku County opposite Liaohe River; and it is said that it is in the ancient city of Aji town in Tieling county.

. Back to Liaohe River, South to Shenyang. Shen Ming highway runs through the territory, close to the edge of the scenic spot. It is 30 kilometers away from Shenyang in the south, 14 kilometers away from Xinchengzi District in the East, and faces Xinmin City and Faku County across the river in the West and North. The scenic spot has beautiful natural scenery and superior environment. Qixingshan was formed at the end of Jurassic, which is composed of Nanshan and Tashan. The scenic spot gets its name because its mountain distribution is similar to the shape of the Big Dipper. There are more than 20 gullies in the mountains, such as Fox Valley. There is a spring on the south slope of Tashan mountain. The spring is clear and sweet. There are four seasons and good conditions for development and construction.

The scenic area is rich in cultural landscape and many historical sites. There are the ancient pagoda of Liao dynasty built in 1074, the stone Buddha and temple built by Tuoba family in Northern Wei Dynasty, the site of Shuangzhou ancient city, and the site of Hanjia garden built in Liao and Jin Dynasties. At the same time, because the scenic area is backed by Liaohe River, one of the four major rivers in China, it was once an important place for transportation and strategy in ancient times. The Ming Dynasty side wall and beacon tower, Liaohe taoti Memorial and modern war blockhouse, which were built in the Qing Dynasty, are distributed all over the scenic area. Since ancient times, there has been the praise of "the tower is far away, the mountain is foggy, the flute is clear, the water is cool".

The folk customs of the scenic spot are simple and unique. Qixingshan scenic spot is surrounded by the birthplace of Xibo nationality and the settlement of Korean nationality, and also inhabits Manchu, Mongolian and other ethnic minorities. There are relatively complete minority villages around Shenyang. With distinct national characteristics and different national customs, it is an ideal place to develop tourism with folk characteristics.
