Bridge house

Qiaolou hall is a two-story double eaves Pavilion style building. The golden glazed tile top and the vermilion palace columns are reflected in the blue sky and green peaks, showing their resplendence. There are Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, eighteen Arhats and murals in the hall.

Climbing up from the gate of cangyan mountain, there is a 15 meter long and 9 meter wide single hole stone arch bridge between the facing cliffs. The bridge hall is located on the 70 meter deep bridge. The bridge hall is a two-story double eaves Pavilion style building, with golden glazed tile top and vermilion pillars reflected in the blue sky and green peak.

The magnificent palace is built on the stone bridge which is close to the cliff. It looks like a castle in the air. It is a rare building in the world. The ancients have a poem that says: "a thousand Zhang Hongqiao look into the micro, the sky and clouds fly together."

Structural features

Such a wonderful building is erected in the quiet mountain stream, which can't help but make people sigh about the uniqueness of the builder's handwriting. Qiaotou temple is one of the three major suspended temples in China (the first is the suspended temple in Hengshan, Shanxi, and the second is the BeiChan temple in Beishan, Qinghai).

There are Buddha, Bodhisattva, eighteen Arhats and murals in the hall. The ancients praised this spectacular sight: "the rainbow bridge is thousands of feet away, and the sky is full of clouds." According to textual research, this bridge was built in Sui Dynasty, prior to Zhaozhou Bridge. It is said that Luban piled firewood all over the mountain stream and built a bridge arch, which was called "chainiu" locally. A 22 arch overpass was built overnight. Then fire "firewood cattle", ash out of the bridge. With such foresight, Lu Ban took the imperial edict and went to Zhaozhou prefecture to build the Zhaozhou Bridge.
